When and where does the course take place?
Sessions take place at the University of South Wales in Newport, in a high quality studio with sprung wooden floors and professional equipment. Courses usually take place during half-term and summer holidays.
Timings for each course will be shared at the booking stage. You can expect to undertake:
- Level 1: 45 hours of study and practice across one week (usually February)
- Level 2: 59 hours across two weeks (usually April)
- Level 3: 140 hours over four months (usually June-September)
What will be expected of me?
As a participant, you will be expected to complete all work tasks and have full attendance during the course/s. Thus, be committed to your development as a dancer and your personal growth as a leader . You will need previous experience of taking part in dance courses or classes and to be familiar with the basics of dance and movement (depending on course entry).
