Through the rhythm of reggae and the message of unity, the film captures Marley’s rise from the streets of Kingston to international stardom, revealing how his deep connection to Rastafari shaped every lyric, performance, and act of defiance. His dreadlocks, his faith in Jah, and his vision of liberation were not mere symbols; they were the living embodiment of a movement that challenged oppression and called the world to higher consciousness.

As we watch One Love, we also witness how Rastafari grounded Marley in truth and purpose, a spiritual compass that guided him through personal trials and global fame. The film reminds us that his call for “one love” was not just a song, but a sacred message born from a faith that saw all people as divine creations of the Most High. Tonight’s screening invites us to reflect not only on his legacy but on the continuing power of Rastafari philosophy to inspire peace, resilience, and freedom.
