Here at Urban Circle Newport, we have new courses available for professionals and anyone over the age of 18 who is interested in working with young people in sustainable and safe ways within communities.
Studying for a Youth Work qualification is crucial as it equips individuals with the knowledge and skills to support and empower young people effectively. Youth workers are pivotal in guiding and mentoring youth, fostering their personal development, and addressing complex issues like mental health, substance abuse, and social inclusion.
Accredited by Agored Cymru Urban Circle Newport with the input of the University of South Wales is offering a super cost-effective entry into Youth Work. There are two levels available. Youth Work has been central to the Urban Circle Arts and Advocacy work that has taken place for 17 years. The experience shared in these courses, which begin in November, will show how impactful good Youth Work can be. Ultimately, a Youth Work qualification enhances the quality of support provided to young people and contributes to building a stronger and more inclusive society.

Yma yn Urban Circle Casnewydd, mae gennym ni gyrsiau newydd ar gael i weithwyr proffesiynol ac unrhyw un dros 18 oed sydd â diddordeb mewn gweithio gyda phobl ifanc mewn ffyrdd cynaliadwy a diogel o fewn cymunedau.
Mae astudio ar gyfer cymhwyster Gwaith Ieuenctid yn hanfodol gan ei fod yn rhoi’r wybodaeth a’r sgiliau i unigolion gefnogi a grymuso pobl ifanc yn effeithiol. Mae gweithwyr ieuenctid yn ganolog i arwain a mentora ieuenctid, meithrin eu datblygiad personol, a mynd i’r afael â materion cymhleth fel iechyd meddwl, cam-drin sylweddau, a chynhwysiant cymdeithasol.
Wedi’i achredu gan Urban Circle, Agored Cymru mae Casnewydd gyda mewnbwn Prifysgol De Cymru yn cynnig mynediad hynod gost-effeithiol i Waith Ieuenctid. Mae dwy lefel ar gael.
