Pots, Pans & Poetry is an Arts Council Wales funded project that aims to connect people within our communities through culture and creativity. Urban Circle Newport is inviting submissions of recipes and/or poems that will be collated into a published collection.
Recipes can be for any dish but should have cultural significance – this could be, for
example, a new twist on a national dish, a fusion of different cuisines, or a family recipe
handed down through generations. Submissions should include a list of ingredients
specifying unit of measurement, method and cooking instructions as well as number of
servings provided.
Poems can take any format but not exceed 500 words. Poems should respond to the
themes of culture, community or food.
