Ali 'Shai' Boksh

Hi my name is Ali Boksh and I am one of the co-founders and directors of Urban Circle Newport.  For the past 15 years both voluntary and statutory, I have been working within children’s and young people’s services, during this time I have progressed, learnt fast, and deployed my training and experiences into being an effective professional youth and community workerIn 2006, we set up Urban Circle Productions (with a few friends)-

My passion has always been helping my community and helping those less fortunate. Helping young people and community members to pursue their passions and interests using creative ways to engage and empower. I have lived in Newport for the majority of my adult life and in an insightful way, have watched its youth and elderly grow with me.

My work and studies have lead to strengthening my passion to help those around me, and this is what I enjoy the most.
