Mohamad Miah

Hi I am the Communications officer for Urban Circle Newport and have been working in screen and lens based media for over 10 years. I have also been a Media consultant for public sector and third sector agencies across Wales and England for a similar time.

Having been a graduate of the documentary photography program which had stood for 100 years in Newport, I have always been interested in reportage and inspired by the creation of art as well as the resilience of individuals within communities of empathy and compassion in regards to community development. I support and work with multiple agencies across South Wales and Urban Circle has been a sort of lynch pin for such personal development. It really is a great place and grouping of like minded people.
