A film screening with post film conversation with Director Dr Peter Knapp. Film starts at 7pm.

Circle Cinema invites you to a powerful documentary screening of Fires and Fascism, directed by Dr Peter Knapp, followed by a live post film discussion with the filmmaker.

As wildfires devastate communities across Europe, Fires and Fascism looks beyond the flames to explore how climate breakdown intersects with political extremism, corporate power, and social division. Drawing on the ground footage, scientific insight, and community voices, the film asks urgent questions about who benefits from crisis and who pays the price.

Dr Peter Knapp is an air quality scientist turned filmmaker and climate activist, connected with Scientists for Extinction Rebellion. His work bridges research, lived experience, and storytelling, using film as a tool to provoke dialogue and collective reflection.

All proceeds from cinema entry tickets will be donated directly to the filmmakers involved. Please donate generously and support independent, grassroots filmmaking.

Join us for an evening of cinema, conversation, and critical thinking, and be part of a growing cultural space where stories meet real world action.
